Researchers World. - Journal of Arts, Science and Commerce: A Bibliometric Study

Abstract

This paper analyses publication and citation patterns in the Journal of Researchers World : Journal of Arts, Science and Commerce( a peer-reviewed research journal) from 2011-2015. The analysis cover mainly the number of articles, authorship pattern, citation pattern, geographical distribution of papers, etc. The results show that majority of the contributions 196(41.61%) emanating from India. Study also shows that out of 471 articles single author contributed 200 (42.46%) articles while the rest 271(57.88%) articles were contributed by multiple authors. The maximum number of citations 3153 (26.17%) produced in 2012.
