Use of E-Journals by the Researchers: A Comparative Study

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to find out the level of awareness and use of e-journals by the researchers. A well-structured questionnaire was administered to the researchers to collect data the necessary data regarding the use of e-journals. The study reveals that most of the researchers are aware of e-journals and most of the researchers use them for their research purpose. Most of the researchers are fully agreed with the usage of e-journal. Most of the researchers access e-journals in computer centre. It is however found that lack of training is the obstacle in proper and full utilization of e-journals. The comparative study of e-journal between DU and AMU can significantly contribute to the identification of core journals in different areas of study.
