Learn with Fun: Fostering and Innovative Culture for Library Promotion

Abstract



Necessity is the mother of Invention. Innovative culture is a crucial demand for the service oriented organization. The demand of the present era Library and Information Science Professionals (LISPs) provide the library services in innovative and creative manner to intellectuals. Today, intellectuals want to learn with fun. In library profession, Learn with Fun techniques will be fostering innovation and creative ideas for our intellectual’s society (IS). This article discusses the learn-play dichotomy. Library Promotion is powerful tool for harnessing library resources and better understanding library activity and functionality. According to Kurt, L., Kurt, W. and A. Medaille (2010), “Several important characteristics of learn with fun are discussed, including time and space, transformation potential, safety, and intrinsic motivation. Various types of learning activities are explored, and the psychological links that exist between learn, play and creativity are examined”. (p.8). Finally, this research article determines questions that should be answered by libraries wishing to foster a culture of library promotion by fun and play.
