User Perception for Harnessing of Library resources and services; A case study

Abstract



Library and Information Professionals are keen interested to provide optimum information in optimum time and form to users. We are live in the era of information revolution, Library and Information Science Professionals need to work with user to discover what their expectation are and how the library can customize the library services to meet user’s expectations. This articledescribes a case study which was conducted at National Institute of Financial Management Library for harnessing of library resources and user’s perception. Over more than sixty library users, faculty and staff-helped to understand library system and offered suggestions for improvements. The problems were noted and, where possible modifications were made to improve results.
