Usage of Social Networking Sites (STSs) in University: A study

Abstract

In the present era Social networking sites (SNSs) are very popular and have become a part of social life for adults. This study highlights the usage and purpose of using Social networking sites among Post graduate students of Galgotias University. A well-structured questionnaire was administered to the students to collect the necessary data. The study reveals that Social networking sites were highly used by the students. The majority of post graduate students used SNSs for entertainment and they found reliable information from it.
