Authorship Maturity on International Journal of Library Science: A Bibliometric Analysis

Abstract

Authorship Maturity a Bibliometric study on the International Journal of Library Science is made from the volumes published in IJLS during (2010-2013). Studies reveal that the team research is more favorable than the solo research. This study brings out the authorship trend and its growth. The analysis, degree of collaboration in IJLS ranked 0.64 during the period of study. The analysis of this study includes Year Wise and Volume Wise Distribution of article Citations, Authorship Patterns of cited articles, prolific authors etc;
