Use of Wi-Fi Service among the Healthcare Professional at Central Library, CUSMCH: A Study

Abstract

The internet access has become most powerful and rapid segment in library services. The study overview the needs of users and provide facilities to them through modern technology at library. At present, use of electronic Medias (laptop, tablet and mobile etc.) is increased by students significantly for the access of library database and e-resources. This study found the needs and utilization of the Wi-Fi facility among the library users. Through, the study an endeavor to analyze the use of Wi-Fi service by healthcare professional at central library of C. U. Shah Medical College and Hospital (CUSMCH), Gujarat. In this study used various parameters included the purpose of visit, Access Internet and online resource, Time spent on Wi-Fi facility, Access resources through Wi-Fi technology and opinion about its problems and satisfaction level of usage of Wi-Fi facility.
