Trend of Reportage of Agricultural Issues in Two Nigerian Daily Newspapers (2007-2010).

Abstract

This study investigated the trend of reportage of agricultural issues between 2007 and 2010 in Nigerian Newspapers. Forty (40) issues of two purposively selected Nigerian daily newspapers (Punch and Guardian) were randomly selected over a period of four (4) years, translating to a total of three hundred and twenty (320) issues. The newspapers were evaluated for the number of volumes that reported agricultural issues and the extent of reportage of agricultural issues.
